The Safe Home

An organization targeted to aid those who have escaped human trafficking a way out by offering a safe space for them to stay temporarily until they learn the necessary skill sets to take on the world. We will achieve this by offering bed spaces as well as educational classes in their desired work field and group or individual therapy sessions. In addition to that, the organization will also focus on educating the public on the harsh realities of human trafficking and suggest ways to help those affected. Because of the horrendous conditions they are in, they are stripped of the opportunity to grow as a person and obtain credentials to obtain a job and a stable income. This organization is here to help combat major effects human trafficking does. Giving them a secure environment coupled with fellow peers...

A World We Dare to Imagine

A few ways to aid men a...

That being said, I decided to take the liberty and plan my own trip with a couple friends last month. The process of planning a trip has been way more stressful than I anticipated. We started looking at websites like Contiki and EF Ultimate Break where they offer tour packages for people ages 18 to about 30. I found packages to be convenient because it lessened the trouble and cost of booking hotels and arranging transportation. On top of that, traveling with a group also gives us the opportunity to make new friends along the way. Through those websites we found amazing destinations to go to like Costa Rica, Italy, Vietnam, and Greece—the options seemed endless. But because we are trying to plan an international trip last minute slots were full and airfare was exp...
